Caltrops (Tribulus terrestris) is a plant that has been used in traditional medicine for centuries. It is also known as Tribulus, Tribulus terrestris, or Puncture Vine.

– Food: In tropical and sub-tropical Asian countries (including Taiwan), water caltrop (Trapa natans) is a commonly edible plant because its seed (or kernel) is rich in starch, dietary fiber, and other nutrients.

– Cosmetics: Caltrops seed extracts are used in skincare products due to their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

– In Traditional Medicines:  CALTROPS is mainly used in traditional medicines including oriental, Chinese Kampo and Ayurveda medicine more than 1000 years.
