Senna is a plant native to Northern Africa, and both the leaves and the seeds are used in herbal medicine. Known primarily for its purgative properties, senna works as a natural laxative and is often taken in a capsule, pill, granule or tea format.

In pharmaceutical: Senna leaves are used to treat constipation and also to clear the bowel before diagnostic tests such as colonoscopy.

In Cosmetic: senna extract (from an organic* plant) is used to hydrate, condition, and help protect skin from the harmful effects of free radicals

In Traditional Medicines:  Senna Leaves is mainly used in traditional medicines including oriental, Chinese Kampo and Ayurveda medicine more than 1000 years.
